On 28.11.2013, a competition on “NPP – Energy for Clean Nature” was held at the House of Energetics, Kozloduy, as part of the Social Program during OSART mission.
The event was organized by the Association “Women in the Nuclear Industry – Bulgaria” (WiN Bulgaria) and was held for ninth consecutive year. Six teams of the following schools took part in the competition: from Kozloduy – “St. Cyril and Methodius”, “Hristo Botev” Secondary School, “Igor Kurchatov” High School and “Mariya Sklodovska Curie” High School in Belene. The main goal of the competition is to high school students to demonstrate knowledge in relation to radio-environmental monitoring, radioactive waste management at NPP, environmental impact of the radiation and technological scheme of NPP reactor.
All teams received awards for their good performance, as well as many additional awards. EnergoService AD donated to IGH “Igor Kurchatov” Multifunctional Device – printer / scanner / copier, format А3.
Ms. Radka Ivanova, Chairman of the Association, presented to the Executive Director of EnergoService AD - Georgi Manchev, Diploma for significant contribution to the development of the activities of WIN-Bulgaria 1993-2013.
